I have learned to prepare salmon since my husband commercial fishes and thought that I would share one of favorite ways. We like a fresh caught salmon (gutted and gilled if you leave the head on) Stuff the belly with slices of onion, lemon, green peppers, and a little butter. Coat the outside of the fish with mayonnaise. Cover with foil (heavy duty) and seal well. cook over the barbee or a camp fire. Fish is done when it flakes away from the bone.
