• 1/4 to 1/2 lb. of ground beef

• 1/4 cup of chopped onion

• 1 cup of water

• 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce

• 1/2 cup of instant white rice, uncooked

• 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

• A pinch of salt

• A pinch of pepper

1. In a medium size frying pan, brown the ground beef and onion. After the meat is cooked, drain the fat.

2. Add the water and barbecue sauce to the pan. Bring to a boil.

3. Stir in the rice turn the heat to low and cover the pan. Cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked. Sprinkle with the cheese and serve.
