Buttermilk Pecan Pie

"This is my favorite recipe for the holiday season. Hope you like it too."

1/2 cup butter

2 cups sugar

5 eggs

2 Tbs all-purpose flour

2 Tbs lemon juice

1 ts vanilla extract

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup chopped pecans

1 unbaked pastry shell (10 inches)

1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.

2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well atfer each addition.

3. Blend in flour, lemon juice and vanilla.

4. Stir in buttermilk and pecans.

5. Pour into the pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes or until set.

Cool on a wire rack.
Store in the refrigerator.

Yield: 8 servings.
