This is a recipe that makes a dense cakelike brownie. I don't know if it is the one from your paper or not but it is great!

Brownies:
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
4 eggs
1 stick butter
16 0z. chocolate syrup
1/2 c nuts (optional)

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into greased 13x9" pan. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.

Frosting:
1 1/2 c. sugar
6 Tbs butter
6 Tbs milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 tsp vanilla

Use a heavy sauce pan. Mix first 3 ingredients and let come to a boil. Boil for 30 seconds. Remopve fr4om heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla. Blend quickly until chips are melted. Spread over brownies.
Cool and eat!
