Good Morning to you. Thank-you for responding. I just put water in the pot, salt it, place the potatoes in. You could cover it & once boiling lower the temp. otherwise the water will boil over unto your range top.
Once cooked (Knife blade just goes thru easily.) remove & wrap into the alum. foil. then with your palm of your hand roll the potato back & forth a few times in order to loosen the potato from the skin. Then open the potato with a slice of your sharp knife & squeeze both ends toward the center somewhat & the potato meal ozzes to the top somewhat. Now we spread some salt & pepper on top & you have a very nice moist "BAKED POTATO". Have a nice day young lady.
