HEAVY CHOCOLATE CAKE
FOR THE FILLING: 1/4 cup sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 egg 1/2 cup coconut 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips FOR THE CAKE: 2 cups sugar 1 cup oil 2 eggs 3 cups flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 cup cocoa 1 cup black coffee 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a tube pan.
TO PREPARE THE FILLING: Mix together the 1/4 cup sugar, cream cheese, and 1 egg. Stir in coconut and chips
TO PREPARE THE CAKE: Beat together the 2 cups sugar, oil, and 2 eggs. Mix in remaining ingredients for the cake except vanilla and walnuts. Stir in vanilla. Fold in walnuts.
Spoon half cake batter into prepared tube pan then spoon the filling on top and add the remaining half of the cake batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 70-75 minutes.
