After you cook the chicken you remove some of the broth.
About a cup and a half. Let it cool some before you make a dough with it.
To make the dough add flour and some of the broth to make a dough that is not sticky and rolls out nicely. Roll the dough out and cut in strips. Let air dry for a few hours. Bring your remaining broth to a full boil and add the pastry pieces to the pot.
cook for about 15 min. Turn off the pot and let sit for about 20 minutes before serving. Another thing you could use if you are short of time is to use the pre-package of the pastry strips found in the freezer section of the grocery store.
