I make Fried Apple Pie the way my mother did, She would cover the dried apples with water,just enough to cover and add sugar to taste, cook until tender, make a pie dough and roll in circles about the size of a sauser, put the apples on one side and fold over and close edge with a fork, I never put a lot of spice, one could add what they like. fry on each side until brown. enjoy.
