I only had the rum cake that takes the cake mix etc. I have never enjoyed it knowing it is not from scratch and I can taste the texture of the cake mix in it. Yours was ABSOLUTELY the best. I love it and want to thank you so much as it was a hit at our wedding dinner since the theme was Cuba where the couple first got married. For those who have not tried it. It has the texture and taste of a pound cake with all of this wonderful rum and butter mixed in. You only need a small piece.
