Hi Suzanne:

I got this recipe from the back of a Bakers Chocolate box and it make a very good brownie - you might want to try it.

SCRUMPTIOUS BROWNIES

1 pkg. (8 squares) Bakers Unsweetened Chocolate
1 cup butter
5 eggs
3 cups sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts**

Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly. Cool slightly.

Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla in lg. mixer bowl on high speed for 10 minutes. Beat in chocolate mixture on low speed. Add flour, beating just to blend. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9" pan.

Bake at 375 deg. for 35 to 40 minutes or until tester inserted into center comes out almost clean (do not overbake). Cool in pan, then cut into squares.

Makes 32.

**I omit the nuts and use mini-chocolate chips for a VERY rich brownie! These are really quite good and worth the effort.
