Ooh, YUMM! We had this last night and it was GREAT!
1 bag of frozen blackberries, unthawed (original recipe calls for 1 qt. of fresh blackberries) 1 stick butter 1 C. self-rising flour 1 C. sugar 1 C. buttermilk
Preheat oven to 350°. Melt the butter in a 2 qt. oven-proof casserole. Mix together the flour and sugar; stir in the buttermilk. Pour this mixture over the butter, but don't stir. Gently sprinkle in the blackberries, but again, don't stir. Bake for 25-30 min. til the top is golden brown. Serve with ice cream.
