I made this cheesecake when it came out in the March '88 Gourmet and have made it SEVERAL times since, as it is often requested. I moved to the Virgin Islands seven years ago, just moving back to KY in June of this year. I somehow lost the recipe while moving back, but was DELIGHTED to find it on this sight. I HIGHLY recommend trying it. I add a fresh strawberry half with each slice, when I can get good ones. The cheesecake is so rich and wonderful, it needs no other sauce, in my opinion. Patsy
