2 cups all-purpose flour 1 Tbsp. baking powder 2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/3 cups heavy (whipping) cream 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add whipping cream all at once. Using a fork, stir just until moistened.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Quickly knead by gently folding and pressing dough 10 to 12 strokes. Pat or lightly roll dough to an 8-inch square. Cut into 16 squares.
Place biscuits 1 inch apart on a large ungreased cooking sheet. Brush tops with the melted butter.
Bake in a 425 degree F oven about 12 minutes or until golden. Remove from cookie sheet. Serve hot.
