RUDOLPH SANDWICHES

12 whole-wheat bread slices, crusts removed
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
48 pretzel sticks
24 raisins
12 cherries

Broil bread slices on baking sheets 3 inches from heat (with
electric oven door partially open) until crisp, turning once; cool
slightly. Spread one side of slices with peanut butter; cut each
slice in half diagonally, forming triangles. Stick pretzels on the
peanut butter-coated, longest side of triangles to resemble antlers;
attach raisins to resemble eyes and cherries to resemble noses. (Each slice of bread will
make two Rudolphs.) Yield: 24 sandwiches.
