A fellow opera singer gave baggies of her amazing brittle to the cast and crew of the show we just did; the brittle was amazing, and similar to the one above except with no crackers. She just used a can of nuts, a cup of butter, and a cup of brown sugar, and sprinkled chocolate chips on top, spreading around the chocolate when it melted. Amazingly good brittle. I've just made my first attempt and it's cooling... can't wait to taste the final product, altho the melted version tastes fantastic!
