AMARETTO CHOCOLATE SAUCE
1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup firmly packed brawn sugar 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk 12 ounces (2 cups) semi-sweet real chocolate chips 2 tablespoons amaretto (or 1 teaspoon almond extract) 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
In 2-quart saucepan combine sugar, brown sugar and evaporated milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil (4 to 6 minutes).
Add chocolate chips; stir until melted (1 to 2 minutes).
Remove from heat; stir in amaretto and butter.
Serve over ice cream, cake, desserts, etc. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
