CHEESE-PIMENTO ROLLS
1/3 cup milk 1 package Fleischmann’s Active Dry Yeast 1/4 cup very warm water 2 1/4 cups sifted flour, divided use 1/2 cup (1 stick) softened Fleischmann’s Margarine 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 egg 1/4 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper 1 tablespoon chopped pimento
Scald milk; cool to lukewarm.
Sprinkle yeast into 1/4 cup warm water in mixer bowl. Stir to dissolve. Add milk, 1 1/4 cups flour, margarine, sugar, salt and egg. Blend at low speed; beat 1 minute at medium. Dough will be very soft. Add remaining 1 cup flour, grated cheese, chopped green pepper, and chopped pimento; beat 1 minute.
Spoon into 12 large greased muffin cups, Cover; let rise in warm place, free from draft, until doubled, about 1 hour.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
